Kronotex Story in Singapore

Kronotex Singapore Pte Ltd incorporated in 1988. 

It now has paid-up capital of SGD 3.03 million and specialises in distribution, sales, marketing of internationally well-known German made laminate flooring known as  ‘KRONOTEX

In October 2007, the company was presented with the Professional Enterprise Award (PE Award 2007) which was jointly organized by the Asian Management Association (AMA) and the Certified Consultant Academy (CCA), and is supported by the Association of International Management, United Kingdom (AIMUK) for its excellence and strategic congruency in all areas of organizational development - namely operations, human resource development, marketing, finance, organizational learning and leadership and execution capabilities.

In December 2007, Kronotex Singapore was awarded ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) Standard. This award is a laudable milestone recognizing Kronotex Singapore as an organization that effectively manages its impact on the environment. Although conformance to the standard is voluntary, having an EMS in place can help a company add new customers, save money in other areas and also protects the environment.

In February 2010, our company, represented by its managing director, became an associate member of the Real Estate Developers' Association of Singapore (REDAS) to keep abreast of the dynamics in the real estate industry.

Since March 2010, the firm was awarded the Singapore Green Label for all our Kronotex Floorings submitted for certification and professional green rubber underlay endorsed under the category of “Made from sustainability/ Renewable Fibres” from Singapore Environment Council.

Tapping onto Singapore Free Trade Agreement (SFTA) and also forming as an integral part of the company's Asia strategy, Kronotex Singapore has again expanded its inventory capacity in June 2010 to a 15,000sqft premises to play a more active role to meet with the rapid growing demand for ECO-Friendly or “GREEN” Flooring in the Asia.

In the local market segment, our primary business is to network with select group of distinguished developers, prominent architects & interior designers and established retailers and contractors to channel our sales in both the residential and commercial markets.  We also have direct sales teams to service consumers at our show rooms and at exhibition halls.

As Kronotex stockist for Asia Pacific region, we export to various clients in this region as well as support Singapore developers and clients overseas.

This year 2010 has been our 5th year running “KRONOTEX” logo in Mediacorps TV dramas Serials soon after we first launched our first TV commercial with Mediacorps at Channel 5 & 8 in 2005.
