WHY NEGATIVE IONS?
Since negative air ions are widely present in forests, waterfalls, fields and suburbs, negative ions in the air have been used as an important standard for evaluating the environment and air quality. Thus, our research is to stabilize the negative oxygen ion formula, which is multi-layer composite and UV surface treatment.
Background of negative ions research
There’s a good chance you’ve heard the term negative ions (-ions) used, but may not know exactly what it means. -Ions are molecules floating in the air or atmosphere that have been charged with electricity.
In fact, they are everywhere around whether you are indoors or outside. Unfortunately, the count of –ions dropped significantly once we are indoors! Negative ions are beneficial for our health (unlike positive ions): they improve our mood, the air we breathe, and the quality of our sleep. Negative ions would also make us less vulnerable to stress.
The material science we are studying here is about using an activated proprietary agent called ‘TMX’ to generate tens of thousands of negative ions organically in the indoor space for 5-8 years period under the influence of UV rays from natural sunlight.
